Demolished 20th Century Tasmanian Architecture + New website

In the thousands of building's I've photographed for the Tasmanian 20th Century project, several have been demolished or altered beyond recognition.  This is one such building I photographed from the 1930s that is now only a memory.  Check out other demolished buildings and Tasmanian 20th Century Modernist architecure in my new revamped website at http://www.tryanphotos.com/Projects/Tasmania/Index

  1. I am so glad you have recorded important architecture that was eventually destroyed. This may be the best record for future generations. Will you have the photos and text published in book form?

    1. Hello Helen, yes its so important I feel to document buildings at risk so there is a visual record for the future. I do hope to publish a book on the subject one day, or perhaps an exhibition.
